Verdant Reliquary: roots, panels and canopy
A closer look at the forms, layers, and small decisions that give a box its character.
A deck box is a small object with a big job. It should be satisfying to pick up, easy to use, and worth a second look.
Our design studies explore separate panels, sculptural corner pillars, and carefully composed lids. Digital iteration lets us examine those relationships before committing to production.
The Verdant Reliquary study pairs twisting roots with calm botanical fields. The current model demonstrates the intended geometry and visual direction. Physical fit, durability, and production finishing still need real-world qualification.
